Rehearsals |
| It's fast approaching that time of the year again ! Rehearsals for "Iolanthe" will commence in a little over 2 weeks, on Thursday 23rd October at 7:45pm at Hatherlow. We have been very fortunate to obtain the services of Dave Chapman as our MD this year. Dave is MD for New Mills Operatic's production of "Sweet Charity", to be staged in November and comes highly recommended by everyone I've spoken to. He's an accomplished trumpeter (but we won't hold that against him !!) and has appeared with Werneth Concert Band so knows lots of the same people we do. Dave's first rehearsal with us will be Thursday 6th November and I know everyone will make him feel really welcome. |
